Personal Training

My philosophy of training is comprised of three integral components; Evidence based practice, self-development as a coach myself and finally, the ability and drive to educate an athlete to the point of self-sufficiency.

I strive to correct the framework/functions of the body's natural biomechanics; facilitating a perfect groundwork for anything you want to achieve, whether it's correcting joint pain/discomfort for those in the process of other rehabilitation, establishing movement patterns and strategic programming for specific sporting goals, or ensuring proper alignment, progress and support for those aiming for hypertrophy and muscle gain, or my personal discipline of powerlifting within the realms and prescription of Evidenced Based Strength and Conditioning.

I focus solely on you the client, (longevity, adherence ability, balanced health, fitness, nutrition and training from quality coaching, unlike other alternatives). I'd be honoured to help any client with my sheer determination and passion, and combine it with your admirable drive, to help you achieve any level of personal physical fitness goals from, competitive sports, competitive physique or life changing weight loss transformation.


Nutrition

I combine 4 years as a coach, my 8 year experience within the industry and my extensive academic studies and certifications within the field of Nutrition to be able to give you, the client, the best possible service. As a certified MNU Nutritionist I am able to help you within many a facet of the bewildering nutritional world to aid and enhance your training success, or use it as it's own separate tool to aid you in the following aspects;

  • Bodybuilding and advanced muscle gain techniques along with Contest Prep and weight cuts

  • Team sports; both team performance nutrition and individual recommendations

  • Performance Nutrition for Endurance Athletes

  • Special populations and the specialist nutritional knowledge, including; Obesity, Diabetes, PCOS, Pre and Post-Natal, IBS, elderly populations, High Cholesterol and Heart Health…along with many others.

  • Evidence based strategies for making weight; boxing, powerlifting, weightlifting, bodybuilding

  • Both small and large scale weight loss; from general population to managing obese populations and the resultant comorbidities associated.

  • Meal timing and frequency in health and performance.

  • Evidenced based advice for hydration, supplementation and lifestyle-related factors.

  • Full body composition assessment and interpretation throughout

All implemented through a varying manner of nutritional programming techniques employed based on your individual circumstances, current nutritional practices, and goal length. For example; IF, VLCD, windowed eating, specific macronutrient setting and adjustments, utilisation of FODMAPs, diet breaks and IIFYM, to name a mere few.

All nutritional advice is available either alongside Personal Training programmes or as a separate entity dependent on you the client, your requests, and your requirements. Your nutrition can be delivered either as a face-to-face service, or as an online nutritional package. I am able to programme for individuals, team sports, or for corporate companies; with tailored and differing strategies accordingly.


Life Coaching

It is my own inherent desire to push my own body and mind to the limit, train hard and reap the rewards that led me down the path towards wanting to coach others. Working with clients ranging from; physique focuses, specific performance goals and unique nutritional advancements, to those requiring my specialism in the obese and diabetic populations. All with the passion for evidenced based practice that originates from the culture of Strength and Conditioning embodied by my own practice.

I am dynamic, I work in the here and now for clients training and mental progression. I study circumstances, beliefs and thoughts and adjust programs to those needs and goals… in the same way that no two athletic programmes will be the same, no two mental states and circumstances are the same, and thus I structure and provision the reframing accordingly… you can now see how, in many cases, Performance and Life Coaching go hand in hand.

For example:

  • Athletic performance, coping with pressure, ability and mental preparedness to succeed. Aiding ability of how to both cope with and perform under pressure, (e.g powerlifting and weightlifting meets, track and field competitions, team sport finals and gymnastic recitals etc)

  • Psychological preparedness for extreme dieting phases, (bodybuilding and stage prep, sport induced weight cuts etc)

  • Overall Health and wellbeing. Breaking the cycle of perpetual dieting failures.

Online Coaching

I can offer you online coaching thus meaning you'll receive all plans written and sent through to you, along with all nutrition worked out and sent through respectively. Both of which monitored, developed and adapted individually according to your assessments, progressions and physique composition accordingly.My coaching services, (be that programming combined with nutrition, or just choosing one of the services) encompass everything that needs to be addressed to begin your journey. Whether that be hypertrophy and physique transformation, sports performance, or weights loss; all with a focus of optimising your physique, health and functioning. Throughout the duration of training I will be delving into the specifics of Evidenced Based nutrition, supplementation and refined Strength and Conditioning Programming, constructing a diet and training plan for you and your needs, looking at guiding lifestyle and recovery factors alongside, making it manageable and adaptable to you.Online coaching also comes in 2 tiers dependent on the level of communication and education required and desired throughout.
